How bad is a B-?

Published

When I was a sophomore in college I took General Chem I (which is actually in the second tier chemistry courses between Intro Chems and Organic Chems) I got an A- in lecture and a B- in lab (really because I had a sorry lab instructor who, yes, only gave 1 A to 1 student per assignment as a rule and I only know that because the grad student assistant was crushing me). I am very strong academically and will likely have all As in my pre-req courses but should I take the chem sequence instead of going straight into the second chem pre-req? My only saving grace is this particular chem course in question is NOT the pre-req (it in fact is a higher level chemistry that I can use as an equivalent if i choose). What would you recommend??
