How do you apply to different CSU Nursing programs...

I know this is something I should probably already know but I'm just now realizing that many school sites say that in order to apply to nursing program at their school, you must be a student...so does that mean I have to fill out an application now, during the application period for the CSUs and turn one in or how does this process work? I want to apply to different nursing programs too.. I'm applying for fall 2015. Currently attending CSUB.

Yes need to apply and be admitted to both the university and nursing program.

You'll need to apply separately to each. The CSU application period is open now, and usually closes at the end of November. However, the nursing program application period is separate, and you'll need to look at the program's website to see when that is. You'll likely need separate transcripts for each application (unless otherwise stated). There may also be separate application fees. Make sure you meet ALL of the requirements of any program to which you're applying, because missing even one thing will get you eliminated.
