Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2025

Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early but I am graduating this December and will be applying to houston nurse residencies and didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications start in a few months, just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc...?

It takes a while to pop up in the portal. And yeah its giving incorrect hosiptal if you read the chat above apparently its the same application for multiple hospitals in that region.

That's amazing! Congrats! I interviewed for OR as well and haven't heard anything so I'm guessing I did not haha

Thanks so much! try and stay positive its not a no until they tell you no, they are probably still sending offers, I remember them saying they had a lot of candidates to interview that day as well

Thank you for the encouragement! I still haven't heard back from them. I figured I might just accept my job offer with Texas Oncology to get 6 more months under my belt (I already have 6 months from a previous residency) and then apply to OR fellowships then, because I would really like to switch out of oncology and into the OR

For those that are still looking for a job - if you are interested in needle skills and/or outpatient work, there are a lot of dialysis clinics in Houston that have New Graduate RN programs that are still open that you can apply to!

I haven't worked for them yet but they have extended 3 job offers now. I previously worked for UNC Oncology up in North Carolina. But Texas Oncology is actually the group that handled my care when I was going through cancer treatment a few years ago and they are absolutely amazing!

just got the email saying MH SW is not interviewing me for NICU, but IDK if anyone got an interview with them.

Whenever they sent you that email, did they also change the status of your application on the portal?
