It's a 3 semester, year-round program. They only start the program in the fall and the spring, if you start in the spring, you go for the spring, summer, and end in the fall (January-December), if you start in the fall, you go for the fall, spring and end in the summer (August-next August).
The program is no joke, I'm in my final semester and it's hard, I am a full time student, I don't recommend working during it, though some students do and still make it through. You will need to study a lot to try to absorb everything you learn.
Good luck and feel free to message me with any questions you might have about the program or the application process.
I am applying for the CNA-LVN for the June 1st deadline and if I don't get accepted for that term applying for the Oct 1st deadline. I am very nervous and praying that I get accepted the first time. I have the 2 classes to take VNSG 1320 and VSNG 1216 and the Teas Test. I will be working full time as well. @ Smartypants22 could you message me about the application process.
Shyred, it says that you cannot receive private messages, but once you have the minimum TEAS scores and passed nutrition and A&P with a 75 or higher, you should turn those in with the application. They'll send you letter telling you if you got accepted, and then to go for an interview.
I didn't get accepted the first time I applied, but I tried again, and I got accept the second time. You don't have to turn in another application if you didn't get accepted the first time, just send in a form.
Grades: Above a 75 in A&P and nutrition
Age: They don't really care, we have people of all ages in the program
TEAS: 60% in math and 64% in reading
you must also attend an information session
as for the interview, just be yourself, that's the easy part.

I'm applying to the nursing program and would like to know if this is a year round program, or do we get the summer off like regular public schools? Also, how hard was the program for you going full time? Thanks everyone and good luck
