How competitive is this program? I applied last week and took the HESI today. I scored above 90% on everything, but I completely bombed the Biology section. I didn't think I had to take that part. I'm going to retest next week.
My GPA is good, I'm a veteran with 5+ years of hospital experience. Does the latter part even matter?
I would LOVE to start in September but I guess that is not happening. January would be nice. How are people already finding out they were accepted for Spring?

Hi :)
I recently took my Hesi Exam on July 26th. I received a call last Friday saying I was accepted into the program!! I didn't do so well on the Chemistry portion. I've read that they only focus on math/reading scores for admission which is why I didn't retake the exam. I will be starting January 2014. I wish you the best!
CONGRATS! Hopefully I will see ya around =)
As for me bombing biology, I was SHOCKED! I did well on the A&P portion, and mediocre on Chem. I asked my advisor if they look at Biol, and she answered me like I was an idiot, "Of course, the sciences are heavily weighed since you are TRYINGGG to get into a BSN nursing program. You need to retake the test." I just sat there like an idiot..... and told her I would reschedule. The front desk girl tried to reschedule for the end of Sept.... I was like ummm I did poorly on one part and didnt study for anything, I will see you next week.
