Will be traveling with my hubby and lab--I'm assuming they don't allow dogs? Did they say anything about per-testing? I read they give the PBDS test, is this correct? I like to know in advance what I'm in for in that regard. I'd hate to get all the way down there and fail it. How is the interview process? Did you sign on for 6 months?
When I spoke with the HR rep, she said they DO allow dogs in the hospital apartments. I made sure of this, because I have 2 labs myself, (I won't be bringing them, however). The interviews were over the phone, one with the HR rep, and one with the unit manager, both fairly painless. I received a call about a week after the interviews with a job offer. Yes, I signed on for 6 months. What is per-testing? What is PBDS testing? The HR rep stated I would have to come down withing 2 weeks of my job start date to do a physical and drug screen, and paperwork.

It is performance based testing where they give you a quick video scenario and you have to write all the steps you would take plus a final diagnosis. They didn't specify what kind of paperwork or per-testing? What kind of floor will you be working on? Would you care if I check n with you every now and then to see how it's going? Good luck to you. Would love to know what to expect. Was planning on contacting them in March. Is that too soon? Did you get your license prior to applying for the position? I hope I didn't scare you with the talk of testing-maybe there won't be any. The thought of tests always gives me palpitations. Lol

Has anyone found (affordable) housing? I put an ad on Craigslist, but I haven't had too much luck.
