Check out Northridge. It's pretty decent in price & the area is ok. Calabasas is beautiful, close but pricey. West Hills is not West LA but the West San Fernando Valley. Canoga Park is close, cheap but not so great area. Woodland Hills is close & very nice but you may have a hard time finding something. Check out Craigslist. Good luck!!!
