I just recently attended a nursing program info lecture.
We were told to expect to study 3 hours per class/clinical/lab hour! And that it is next to impossible for most people to hold even a part time job while going through clinicals. Is this an exageration or TRUTH?

I know I didn't study that much. I spent about 10 hours a week studying, less in some classes and more in others, and I got good grades in Nursing. It wasn't easy, by any means, but most of the hard work was not really studying, it was patient write-ups and researching conditions and treatments that took a lot of time. I didn't get perfect grades, but I did well. I think 3 hours per class hour is excessive and would make you more burned out, rather than more prepared.
