Hourly per diem pay?

I'm just curious if anyone else has worked pay per visit, at an hourly rate. I will be starting work at a new company today and they pay by the hour not the visit. I've asked around & no one's ever heard of this before.

I have to agree LaRN. When you work full-time you're obligated to see so many patients a day, no matter how far you have to travel, especially if you're driving the company car. It's taxing on the body. The company doesn't care about you, just keep their profits up!
