:Hi everyone!! A blessed day to all of us! Im a registered nurse currently applying in some hospitals here in the phils. I already had my bls and IVT training. But because we already knew that is really hard for now to acquire work in a hospital, Im thinking of taking an ACLS training to somehow uplift my credentials. But I'm still thinking if it is really necessary. It is bec. i just heard fr. some nursing graduates that there are now some hospitals requiring an ACLS trainings to nurse applicants. im just kind of worried bec im now passing resumes to many hospitals as much as I could and im worried that they might disregard an application of someone who does not have an ACLS training.
Can someone tell me if there are really some hospitals requiring an ACLS training. And what hospitals and centers conducts the best acls training.,Any reply would be much appreciated. thank you guys....GODBLESS phil nurses...

Based on my experience, most hospitals don't require you to be ACLS certified. It would look good on your resume but it's not really necessary. Since you already have your BLS and IVT training, that's enough to pass your resume in different hospitals.
hi DILM!!thanks for ur reply:)
yah most hospitals usu. required bls and ivt only. but just for info. a small private hosp near our residence required acls and actually i went to manila doctor hosp. nearly a month ago and the woman who talked to me in the nursing office also said the same thing so i tried to ask if anyone knows what are the other hosp that required acls.
But yah ur right most hosp don't require it:) but im also still planning to take this training anyway while im still unemployed to make use of my time and to gain some nursing skills.
Ahh DILM may I ask u if u know what are the best hosp/ centers I could take ACLS? Im looking for a cheaper fee but an AHA accredited hosp/centers and giving the best training. Sorry for asking many questions:)
Thank you very much DILM.godbless!!
