Hospitals near Beale AFB, CA

Hi there! I am wondering if there are any nurses on here working in a hospital near Beale AFB. I just graduated from an ADN program less than 2 weeks ago. I already have a job lined up in a NICU that I am very excited about. I have worked there as a Nurse Partner for several months, but I am starting nursing orientation next week. The problem is, my husband just got orders to Beale AFB yesterday with a report no later than date in September. I know nothing about the area and was curious to know if there are many hospitals in that area. I have heard that it is in the middle of nowhere. My husband may be able to turn these orders down, but then he would not be allowed to re-enlist. What a situation!!!

closest one is in Marysville, Rideout Hospital. Then at Yuba City, they have the Fremont Medical. You can check out their website www.frhg,org for info. Or you can drive south for 30mins to Sacramento. Lots of hospitals there, like Mercy Gen, UCD, Kaiser, Sutter...
