Hospitals in Metro Manila Currently Hiring Nurse Applicants

Hi everyone! I've visited a particular thread with the list of requirements for application, however, I wish to know which hospitals are currently open to hire and absorb nurses. :specs:

Specializes in MS, ER.

I suggest that you visit the hospital personally because most of the time during phone conversation they will say that it is freeze hiring but still accepts your application.Yes. I am referring to Lourdes at Sta. Mesa Manila. Again, just try going to hospitals and inquire.

I went there last sept 10 2010 and the Hr officer that they are in freeze hiring....

well i dunno if they start hiring by sept 10 onwards...

please confirm guys...

to my fellow nurses,

I called chmc and the lady who answer the phone said " yes we have now the list for the nurses who is qualified, however you should wait for our txt or call this week if you are one of the people who is shortlisted"

" we will be conducting exam and interview the whole september so please standby for your application"

" if you dont receive any txt message till thursday please follow up by friday".

Hi~ do you mind if you post or PM the contact number for CHMC? I passed my resume there as well. No text from them yet im afraid. :crying2:

Oh and my cousin and I tried to submit at Phil. Children Hosp. At first, we went straight to Nurse Training Dept. and said that we should pass our resumes straight to the Exec. office. (if i remember correctly) The guard there accepted our resumes, but said that there is no guarantee that they'll hire immediately, coz they have thousands of applicants. We said, it's fine and we just wanna submit our applications and hope for the best.

There's no harm trying right? :o

I personally went to Lourdes Hospital on September 15, around 11AM to pass my requirements. HR is at the ground floor of the Medical Arts Bldg. Beside the door of the HR, there is a post on the wall which says they are no longer accepting requirements from RNs. I still went inside and talked to an HR officer. She repeated what is posted on the wall and that I may have to call back 2 months from now if they will have vacancies. Please be guided accordingly. :redpinkhe

I think Commonwealth was still doing short listing of the applications. I heard they are already conducting pre-employment exams at this point..

I received a text message from the HR of CHMC that I am scheduled for an exam on sept. 14. Does anyone here already took the exam? How was it?

I have taken the pre-employment exam in CHMC. October is the screening and interview month for those who passed the exam.

@hazelnut i think it was June when i passed my requirements.. then taken the exam this September.. they said they will call as soon all the applicants have finished the exams. i think having ivt license is their main priority.

i took the exam just a few hours ago. it was ummm hard.. dont know if i'll make it.. the test was decent but my minds a little rusty hehe.. anyway i passed my requirements like early September, i dont have any work experience, and yet i got a text last saturday. after reading a couple of posts i feel somewhat lucky. I mean my requirements are Okayish. And by the way its no where complete, no letter of intent etc. Whats troubling me right now us that dreadful exam. Anyway what ever happens happen
