my husband is in the US now and he just passed his Nclex exam.. he is in the US for a tourist visa and he is not out of status ...pls anybody knows a hospital who can sponsor him a green card visa and can hire him direct? he is currently a license holder of New Mexico which is under the compact state...but we are considering California..texas...and New Jersey...or any state that can sponsor him....pls help

There is currently retrogression and no visas to adjust. I would suggest reading the International forum especially the thread on retrogression as no one knows really when it will ease but hopefully a bit of news will be out in a few weeks. Also because of retrogression a lot of hospitals are delaying taking foreign nurses on until they know what is happening
just to add Compact only works if you live in one and work in another aimed for people who live on state lines where hospitals are nearer. You will still need to endorse license if moving to one of the states
