Hello! I was wondering if being a "hospice nurse practitioner" is an actual title, because if it is, I am very interested in it. What would you do? I volunteer for Hospice and I love everything they stand for and would love to be able to be a NP within this field.
Thanks!

I don't know about the title, but the closest thing I can think of would perhaps be the Holistic nurse practitioner program at NYU; :)

Palliative Care NP is the title you're looking for. The ANCC has a Palliative Care NP exam for end-of-life care NPs.
Check out their site for more information and schools that offer this program. You can also search for program information using the Palliative Care title and you'll find what you need.

Thank you both, very much. I appreciate it!
