Hey there, I see no one else has created a forum for people applying to the Fall 2023 MSN entry to nursing program... so I figured I would!
Early apps due today. SO nervous
Hey everyone! Congratulations on your acceptances, I've created a fb group if you'd like to join! ?
Is anyone else waiting for decisions from other schools before they make their decision? I'm a little worried about the deadline coming up and wondering if anyone else has found if there is any flexibility on the decision deadline. I've reached out to the admissions office but still waiting to hear back at this point.
I am also waiting on a decision from yale! columbia released their decisions early this year, so I found out about my acceptance, so as of now, I have acceptances from columbia and jhu... and now I am just waiting on yale.
unfortunately, when I was on a call with an admissions officer a week ago or so, it seems that there was no option but to pay the $500 to reserve our spot for jhu by the feb 31 deadline : (
For those with tuition questions:
https://nursing.jhu.edu/academics/programs/pre-licensure/masters-entry/
It is estimated to be ~106/109k TOTAL
Hope that helps!

Does anyone have any idea on the total tuition for the program? I did receive a scholarship, but I am trying to figure how much it will cover for the total tuition for this program.
I attended the info meeting and they said about $110k for the entire program.

Hey! Can I ask which school you chose over Johns Hopkins?
GhostDragon said:Hello,
Did anyone get a notification about when the decisions for waitlist going to come out? ( I got on waitlist)
Im also contemplating since the price is 103K for one year and 60 K for the other. This cost more than any nursing school in California.
Not too sure about when you'll be notified about your waitlist position, but yea the price point really deterred me for the longest time. I thought about it in terms of clinical experience + networking + opportunities + name of the school. I've read a lot about people who chose a more affordable school choice since it will be the same degree despite where you graduate from. But I plan on getting my DNP in the future, so attending JHSON will help with my networking and opportunities to get into the program. After thinking about what I want to pursue long term, it highlighted this school over the other ones I got into.

Oh hey! I didn't know this thread had been created. I also got in on the 9th, but I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple of other schools before I make a decision. Congrats to everyone who has gotten in ?
