Hoping to get Accepted Essex County College Newark

U.S.A. New Jersey

Hi everyone!

So this is my second year being in ECC with 30 credits done so far & low GPA of 3.19 :( I'm planning on taking many classes throughout this year to finally graduate with an associates general science by Spring 2015. I took a CNA evening class which I already finished & waiting to take the written test to finally get certified.

i was wondering if anyone who got accepted into the day RN program in ECC can tell me the process of it. I know that they don't do an entrance exam anymore. But what was your GPA for both the pre-req's & overall, how long did it take you to finally get accepted into the program, what experience did you have before in the health field, did financial aid help you throughout the entire program, are there any scholarships for RN program in ECC, etc.

I'm just really excited and can't wait to finally get accepted (someday lol)! I'm also worried to wait forever since it's a community college & everyone is going for nursing now. I don't know what are my chances of getting accepted since I still need to raise my GPA *I'm working on it! :) *

any feedback would be great thanks!

Hello there, I found this post by searching for ECC on the forums. I am transferring in from out of state and wondering how folks like it there. Did you get in to the nursing program? Also, do many people at Essex transfer out to Rutgers?
