I don't know about how hard it is to get in to all of those schools, etc, but many of the people I work with went through Florence Darlington and I have not heard anything bad about it thus far. I'm hoping to get into their LPN-RN transition program next year, once I finish my LPN.
If you go to their website, its pretty specific as to the requirements. I would imagine that your recent GPA increase would weigh heavily in your favor.
hi everyone, this is my first post. glad to join to community! i have recently applied to 4 schools: trident tech, midlands tech, central carolina tech, and florence-darlington. do any of you have any experience with or know anything about how hard it is to get in or how long you'd have to wait?
from what i understand, trident and midlands will accept me based on the fact that i have my bachelors (could be wrong). it is a difficult for me to see an advisor as i currently reside in florida (most of my fam is in sc).
unfortunately i, like a few other people i've seen on this board screwed up/had personal circumstances while working on my bachelors which affected my gpa (overall 2.9; nursing 2.76)
. i have since completed a master's in health services administation finishing with a 3.8 gpa. can anyone give any advice on the chances of me getting in to any schools. i am willing to relocate anywhere.
[color=sandybrown]i currently attend trident tech and its not that hard to get in. its just a long waiting list. but with our program, getting in isnt the problem. staying in is the problem. the program is very stressful and tough. i must say, that when your done. you would feel like you have accomplished something. i graduate in december and cant wait to be down. i must say, when i took the nclex-pn, i was pleased to see that i found it easier than most of their tests. which means that even though they have a tough program, you learn exactly what you need to and your are confident while taking the exam. good luck to you!!!
