Hey, I'm applying to the program too! I'm a first year at VCU- do you go here? I'm also nervous about my gpa- what did you get, if you don't mind sharing? According to the info from the pre-nursing group on blackboard, the average gpa for fall 2014 was 3.82. Specific SAT/ACT scores aren't noted, it just says most accepted students have a score of over 1100(math and reading combined). Good luck!
3.6... but something that a lot of accepted students emphasized was a good personal statement and recommendations/references. I know some people have gotten in because of those things. If your ACT/SAT score is fairly high, they could make up for slightly lower gpa, I suppose. Do you currently attend VCU?
You really have a good chance of getting in, You're way above average, your GPA is great, and do you mean ACT scores instead of SAT's?? Average ACT is 21. And VCU is A college highly based on academics so if your grades are good and you don't have a perfect statement you still have much of a chance at getting in.

Hi my name is lois, Im applying to the traditional nursing program at vcu and I am nervous about the whole admission process, mostly because I don't think my grades are good enough to get in and this is the only school I applied to. If anyone has any information on what students VCU lets in that would be much appreciated. And what was your GPA and SAT/ACT scores when applying to VCU? Thanks
