I work at a home health care agency in NC.
I have been working in home health as a PCA -Personal Care aide since 1994.
I have decided to help my agency out by becoming a Home Health Recruiter. A person who gets clients for the agency. My question to any/all the nurses how do I go about getting
clients? I know about going to hospitals. What I don't know is who do I talk to at the hospital? What department do I go to? How do I get in contact with the social workers at the hospitals, DSS - Department of Social Services. Are their any other agencies/organizations do I need to contact?
Your suggestions will be truly appreciated.
Thank You

I carried a stack of business cards for my agencies and just handed them out to people I met at the mall or in doctor's offices or anywhere. Unless you are being compensated by your employer, I would not be making any great effort at this endeavor because you might annoy somebody who complains, then you will find out it wasn't worth the trouble.
