Welcome to the site. You can find many tips in the home health forum. Look at the sticky threads to begin with. And yes, you can tailor your home health schedule to fit your availability. That is one of the big advantages of home health. You can work as little or as much as you want. You can work any shift or any day, or even unique shift hours. You just work out your availability with your staffing coordinator. While in school, I worked full time night shift in a SNF and filled in other shifts in home health. That is how I got started in hh. Hope you like home health.

Hi all. I am currently employed at a SNF but plan on doing home health since I will be taking pre-reqs for the RN program this coming spring. I heard home health can give me the flexibility in schedule that I can not get at my SNF. Is it true? Also, can someone give tips/ideas on how home health is like?
Thanks a lot!
