Hello Everyone,
I am a new grad from Barry University and after several applications and 4 months I finally got my another interview. My first interview was at UM Hospital and they offered me a second interview, but unfortunately I didn't get the position. I should hear from them some time next month for the date of my second interview. However, currently I am trying to prepare myself for the the interview held by Holy Cross Hospital. I had applied to their Residency Program for new grads and luckily was offered an interview for next week.
If anyone has ever interviewed with them before and can help me out by giving me some pointers so I can be successful at this interview I will be forever thankful to you. Please if you remember any questions from the interview it will be awesome and share your experiences it would really help me out a lot.
Than you so much :)

Hello I just came across your post.Sorry I am still a student so I dont know about the Holy Cross Residency Program but I saw that you said you graduated from Barry University.I am planning on applying to their traditional program so I wanted to know how was the nursing program there? I dont see much recent post from Barry students on here so I wanted to ask.
Overall, Barry University has a pretty good program and they have made a lot of changes to their program after the our (students) input especially after my class graduated just last year. I was part of the accelerated option so it was very fast paced program, but I did make it and thank God for that :). They have made a lot of changes in the program such as splitting medical surgical class into medical surgical 1 and 2 so that helped a lot of students because that was one of the toughest courses. But overall, it was pretty good. The first semester you just have classes and second semester is when you start your rotations in hospitals while taking classes. The only thing about Barry is that its very expensive. But, I wish you the very best and I am sure you will do great. Good luck to you :). If there is anything specific you want to know just feel free to ask. Take care.
Oh by the way, if your going to be part of the traditional program you will do great as that is 7 semesters long compared to the 4 semesters for the accelerated option. As long as you do your work you will do great and most of the professors are nice and helpful, but just like any other school you do have some professors that are just okay :).
