All the nursing classes are great so far. Mind you I have only taken Trans-Professional Development, Legal aspects and the Older Adult Class. I took my first gen ed there the history class, difficult to say the least. There is so much info packed into that class it was ridiculous. I took most of my gen ed classes through my employer except lit, his x2, and gov x2. From what I have gleaned from this forum take history, algebra, and stats at a CC. I'm taking my second history from my CC and it was about 300 cheaper.
Good Luck
Holistic Health Assessment is an ok course. It just requires attention to detail. Everything that you document on your assessment forms should be exactly as the book requires. Just follow the wording/ assessment documentation as it is written in the text. The assessments are time consuming, but very doable. The exams are open book, but the testing time is very limited, so you will need to read over the assigned material as much as possible.
I'm starting this Spring 2016. I still can't decide if I want to tackle 1 or 2 classes at the same time. I am thinking of taking State and Local Govt and either Medical terminology or Legacy of the Family.
I took one class at a time for the most part. When taking 3 courses at once; i made sure they only overlapped by a couple of weeks and not more. But it all depends on your schedule-I work 40hrs per week plus I have a long commute and a busy teenager.
