hello,
i am hoping i can get some help. i am working on my case study for mch and i have been stuck on the same question forever...
what components should be included in visits throughout the second trimester in a holistic manner?
ok so i have been all through my books and they don not talk about holistic care. i looked online and found out that holistic care treats the body as a whole, but have been unable to find info regarding pregnancy...
my books talk a little about alternative medicine, but not when to use or what it is specifically used for during pregnancy.
if there is anyone who can help i would greatly appreciate it.
thanks!

Holistic care considers the physical, emotional, social, economic and spiritual needs of the person:his or her repsonse to illness and the effect of the illness on the ability to meet self-care needs. Alternative medicine is homeopathic care.
Thank you, but this I know... The problem is that I do not know what should specifically be done for the pregnant woman in the second trimester. Can anyone give me examples???? I was thinking teaching acupressure for nausea but then I thought this would be more for the first trimester???
Thanks!
Accupressure is homeopathic, not holistic.
