Specializes in CVICU.

Can I share my info with those who were accepted? I have 8 years of experience, 2 years in MSICU and 6 years in CVICU.

My science GPA is sad- I got two C+s in Chemistry! science GPA ~2.8, overall 3.44, Nursing school GPA~3.8

I have my CCRN CMC and CSC. I'm on UBT/UBC/shared governance, but no other committees.

Do I have a chance?

hello, congratulations everyone and good luck.

I just heard of this program, so you graduate with both the AGACNP and CRNA? or AGACNP to CRNA??

Did anyone have issues with the admissions receiving your reference through NursingCas? They emailed me about them missing but they were submitted NursingCas I don't have access to them.

An issue I had was the NursingCas emails sent out to my references were going into their "Junk" emails, so I had to inform my references to check their Junk Mail to find the email.

I have a question to people working at Northwell. Is the Hofstra CRNA program 100% free for nurses working in the Northwell system?

I'm a nurse at north shore and am interested in this program!

I'm curious if any current program members have any info on the clinical schedule. I've noticed a Hofstra SRNA in the OR here on the weekends but then I see them on the week days too. Is it all week???

Would also love more info on the tuition assistance!

The program is an AGACNP program and CRNA program. SRNA are there during various times during the week because there is a NP clinical rotation as well as CRNA rotation.

I know the tuition assistance is a nice perk to the program currently, but not sure how long that will last. It's a unique program because of the Dual Degree compared to other CRNA programs.

well I know that they are done with their AGACNP clinicals because I think they are in their second year of school so it is just CRNA rotation now from what I understand. I can maybe ask the RRNA/SRNA this weekend but I was seeing if anyone knew here.

thanks for replaying! I was told if you work for 5 years at Northwell you can get free tuition but you would have to give back 5 years to Northwell. Not sure if that is true I keep hearing different things on my unit. I just want to know.
