Okay all so I have been seeing many questions about a BSN vs. ADN. I was planning on attending a community college near me for an associates in Nursing and they are accredited and it is a very competitive school. I know everyone keeps saying on here to just go for the BSN, but this school is pretty cheap compared to other programs and I can afford it, I can't afford the BSN programs near me. I know there are RN jobs in my area and they only require an associates and then some experience in your position. Should I just try for my associates? I also know CNA's are in demand in my area, once place about 30 minutes from my house starts CNA's at 14.40 an hour and they hire them all the time. What would you do? I'm just so confused now on whether I should go for 2 years or 4 years or what. And I will be graduating in May with an associates in human services. Help?
