I'm a Junior in high school & I want to become a nurse.

I want to attend college in NYC & live there.

I just have a few questions.

1. I want to go to Pace University's Nursing School. Is it good?

2. Do nurses earn a decent amount of money to live in a condo in NYC?

3. What is the salary of a NYC nurse?

4. I want to work with kids. Should i become a Nursery Nurse, Pediatric Nurse, or a Obstrics Nurse?

Well as to what area to go into, it depends on what age of child you want to work with, the newly born, or the older variety.

As far as the NYC questions, you may be better off going to the local tab and going to the New York link. I am sure that they would be perfect to answer your questions....good luck !!

Most people know that living in NYC isn't cheap, even for a studio apartment. But, the salaries are competitive and well worth it. Some hospitals have apartments buildings available just for their staff, but there is often a waiting list. The benefit of these is that you often get more for your money and don't have to worry about a broker's fee (very high in the city). My suggestion, if you don't mind a slight commute, is to check out brooklyn and queens for apartments. They are generally cheaper, but you have to be willing to give yourself more time to get to work. As far as Pace Univ., I don't know anything about the school, but I wish you luck with everything!
