Hi! I am a filipino, Registered nurse for 2 years. I have been hiv positive for 6 years, on meds. I recently applied thru online/agency for a sponsorship for my state exam but then I am afraid that they will know that I am hiv positive and be denied. I just want to ask : Anyone(who is hiv positive RN) ? Who had been successful migrating to US ? How can I be able to work and gain a visa if I'm hiv positive? Is it possible? Are there special requirements for us nurses who had this condition? Thank you...

The USA does not discriminate against an HIV positive worker. However doing healthcare places you at greater risk for infection.

Hi Nursepoz, I am having trouble messaging you in private.
I am just like you and I am currently processing mine. I'll be waiting. God bless you.
