Based on my "travels" (what all I've read) actually you have two options:
1) Take a higher math than MAC1105. If you get a higher grade then they will use that in calculations, e.g. using an A in Calc 1 vs. a B in College Algebra. While this could be a valid step for you though, the problem with it is that say that math scenario above were to apply to you, an A in Calc while cancelling out your B in MAC1105 would probably raise your GPA by .1 at most, hardly the 0.5 needed to boost you to a more competitive 3.5 range.
2) I realize it's an extra step but you may have to go to LPN school first and transfer into an LPN-RN program later. From what I've seen LPNs are basically auto accepted into transition programs like that. That will bring you to your RN goal but just take more time.

This is really terrible but I have below a 3.0 for my nursing prerequisites, I already know that I won't get in for the Spring 2013 semester. So, what would happen if they only look at your prerequisites to determine if you get accepted. Could I raise my GPA by taking more classes or is there no way for me to get in? What should I do?
