Hey guys!
my name is Chris. I am interested in applying to the fall 2021 ASN program at hillsborough community college. I currently have a 70 % on the TEAS.(looking to score higher) and my GPA sits at 3.3. I look forward to hearing from everyone and Good luck! ?
@PenelopeT I wouldn’t worry about retaking the TEAS. They only check to see if you have passed above a 60 and your pre-req GPA.
The advisors told me Spring is usually a less competitive semester so don’t give up, you never know!

Prereq GPA is 3.4 and I have a TEAS score of 64 ?. Debating on whether to re-take the TEAS, any suggestions??? I have my B.S. and a lot of healthcare experience. So nervous!
I would, personally I had a 3.6 and a 69 on the TEAS and I was #1 on the alternate list and was accepted eventually.

Thinking that would be my best option as well... Thank you! Do you know of any other ASN programs in this area? Trying to get as many applications before Spring 2022 comes to a close.

HCC does not care about the TEAS. Whether you have a 90 or a 60, your chances are the same. They rank by GPA only. I had a 4.0 with a 73 on the TEAS and I got in because of my GPA not the TEAS.

PHSC has an ASN!

I'll have to look into it, thanks for the rec! OMG and that makes me feel better...it's so expensive to re-take the TEAS. Great scores! Best of luck to you. My prereq GPA is a 3.6 ?

Do not retake it! Ask advisors if you’re not sure. They told me just get a 60. And on the application it states that they do NOT rank by TEAS. That’s a high GPA, wonder why you didn’t get accepted? Try again for Spring!!

I was that person who only applied to only one college...UNF and after 3 times getting denied I decided it's time to move on LOL! I'm thinking the fastest route is the ASN program, which is kinda why I'm here...and why im freaking out LOL. Then I'll most likely do the RN-BSN bridge.

I applied to hcc 3 times and was finally accepted this semester. But I would definitely apply to all surrounding schools , it's always great to have options. I highly recommend applying to scf if you can!
