Hi everyone! My name is Kiana. I'm applying to HCC's Nursing program for Fall 2021. My GPA right now is a 3.88 but hopefully it'll raise once my classes are done this semester. I'm taking the TEAS at the end of this month.

Hey everyone!
My name is Ciara and I’m applying to HCC’s Fall 2021 Nursing program! My GPA is currently 3.3 and will be taking TEAS first week of April. I’m also interested to know if COVID-19 has been affecting the number of applicants that are accepted into the program? I know the Fall semester is usually a bit harder to get into so I’m wondering if COVID has affected this. Hmmm.

Great job!! And thank you! I scored a 72! Just submitted my application yesterday! Now we wait!

I also miscalculated my GPA. I have a 3.5 and hoping after the semester is over it goes up. Good luck to us all! ?

Hi guys! I am applying for fall 2021. After reading previous years forums I’m starting to get stressed. I have a pre-req GPA of 3.24. How does everyone calculate their pre-req GPA? I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. I heard this Spring the cut off was a GPA of 3.8, but they were also only looking at GPA not the TEAS. Has anyone heard what the fall cut off will be this year? I’m taking the TEAS on April 23rd.

Hey all!

The deadline is quickly approaching! I submitted my application a few week ago! I have a feeling this semester may not be the one I get into. I’ve read other forums about fall semester having a much higher GPA requirement. Ugh here’s to hoping!

They usually tell you the cut off when they email you for your acceptance/rejection letter. And they don’t look at TEAS scores unfortunately, except to make sure that it’s above a 60 percent. How did you do on your TEAS?

Hi everyone, my name is Catherine. I’m really glad I found this forum! I’ve applied for the Fall 2021 semester. My pre-req GPA is 3.71 and I scored an 80 on the TEAS. I have also read that the fall semester is more competitive to get into, so fingers crossed we all get in!! But if not, the Spring semester is always an option. The advisor I last spoke to told me the GPA cutoff for last fall semester was around 3.7 but it all depends on who applies.

I applied for Fall 2021

Prerequisite GPA: 3.56 (if I calculated that correctly)

Overall GPA (combined with Bachelor’s from USF): 3.64

**ATI TEAS is pass or fail and not used in the selection process. I scored well but was told this is not a determining factor.

All my documents (other than the prerequisite review) have been received.

I was reading a forum from last Fall and they didn’t hear back until the end of June? Hopefully it doesn’t take as long, but we’ll see. The suspense is killing me !!
