Hi everyone! I'm new to this site and looking for advice. In my sophomore year of high school, I decided that I wanted to be a nurse. A year later, I am even more confident in this decision. I have been working to keep my grades up, got a high ACT score (32 so far - will take a few more times), and I am most likely starting CNA training in January 2016. My dream school is the University of Pennsylvania, and I will apply there Early Decision in less than a year (eek!!) I'm just looking for some advice on how to beef up my application, and any tips for applying to nursing school.
Thank you so much!

Can you take a tour of the University of Pennsylvania and talk to some admissions people about what will help your application? I think mostly your grades though. Good luck!

At this point, you might be able to try volunteering at a local hospital, that will probably look really good on your application.
Also, keep up your grades in your sciences and keep up the good work! A 32 on your ACT is really good! I don't think you will have any problem getting to your goal. :)
