I am a new RN from WV, there are not many RN jobs in my area, so I'm thinking about going to OH and finding a job. I received my packet in the mail today to get my OH nursing license, it cost $75. I was just wondering if there is anyone on here who works at Holzer Hospital in Gallipolis, OH?
Also, it seems like the pay is better in OH. In my area they start new RNs at $17.65/hr.

My cousin works there, that is my hometown!!!!! I'm a sucker for homesickness :D
She's an RN, i'll have to ask what she's making an hour at Holzer's. She's been there 3 years i believe.
I live in Mason County, across the river from Pomeroy. Pleasant Valley Hosp in Pt.Pleasant doesn't have any openings, that's why I'm thinking about Holzer.
The Gallipolis Daily Tribune
The link for the Gallipolis newspaper, don't know if that can help you or not?
I'll see if Holzer's has a link, maybe they do like my hospital does here, and puts job openings on their website?
You might be able to contact a nursing director about job openings through email?
