hey!!!
so guys! i have been a silent admire-er! i made a list through this website of KAPLAN scores i found for people who have PASSED their exam, and i noticed there was a trend. for all question trainers 4-7 (the main ones), everyone's score was over 56+. so i aimed for that. I knew if i got below 56, i needed to repeat what i was doing. i am one of those procrastinating types when it comes to MAJOR exams. it doesnt "hit" me until the month before that oh crap! i have a HUGE exam coming up. I know its nearly ming boggling to study ALL DAY so what i did was just study 4 hours throughout the day and during bed time. if i didnt understand something, i wrote it out a few times. i sat there for over 5 hours i had over 200 questions and 60% of my exam was SATA! i had ALOT of prioritization questions. i am absolutely thankful i had kaplan's hard copy content book (i purchased a used one for a buck on amazon). i highly recommend it. besides kaplan, i downlaoded the hurst review MP3 and just listened to her. for SATA practice i have a book called Lipinncotts alternate format and it was around 20 bucks and i did that entire book. it took me abotu 2-4 days. dont focus on what you get right or wrong. write down EVERYTHING on a separate word document. i made a personal study guide for myself because it outlined what i knew, what i didnt know, and what i needed to know. i suggest while youre studying do the same. if youre like me and get anxious seeing 17387237281 pages, DOUBLE SPACE and make the font size 14 and read your notes that way! its a way of tricking your mind!
only the people who have taken the exam know the feeling when it ends...there is NO real feeling, you dont know how to feel, happy? sad? confused? so what you end up doing is saying "its up to god" and you leave it at that and trust god has your back! i made friends through this website without even talking to them and am so thankful to have seen their inputs.
My Question trainer scores:
1 60
2 61
3 56
4 56
5 57
6 64
7 66
Sample test
1 52
2 56
3 87
4 42
Average Qbank: 58
Supplemental material:
I had purchased the book calld "Kaplan Premiere" from barnes and noble oNLY for the 265 test in it...when you log on through kaptest it allows you to create an online account where you have a year for free (hint: you can return the book right away and still have access to the book...just incase your tight on $). you just download the Kno.com app on your ipad and boom you have access!
for each test in the book i got 60+ theres not many about 20 questions PER chapter. i finished this book in 2 days.
for the 265 test: 68
the online portion also gives you a 180 readiness exam: 69
Also guys, if youre stuck on a question and absolutely hate the rationale, email kaplan and they will reply back with details. i know sometimes kaplan sucks with rationales but they want you to make an effort too. i did email them 5-6 times and they were AMAZING with their responses. i was shocked actually.
p.s. i know alot of people feel that they have seen a question before and recognize the answer right away and think SHOOT i am not smart, i just KNEW that answer because i saw it a few minutes or days ago, WRONG! it means you are SMART. youre able to pick up and recognize things. and guess what> its going to help when you take your exam becausey oull see somethign and will recognize it RIGHT AWAY!
- i hope i helped because i know the feeling.
