as a recent grad who has yet to take the nclex what's keeping you busy these days?

are you working as a (what is the proper term, student nurse? grad nurse? unlicensed nurse) as you wait to take the nclex?

if so how are you liking work so far? what nursing specialty is at the top of your list and why?

hi cici! well, i have lots to keep me busy. i have been practicing my sauders, lippincott and meds pubs. questions to prepare for nclex, i am preparing for my nurse residency at the hospital... i have 2 girls who keep me very busy and i also have my own hobbies such as making reborn babies that i sell on ebay.

i did my preceptorship on the cvicu. i was so excited to take care of "fresh hearts" patients. it was very intense. i loved every minute it!

i am going to be entering the critical care rotation of the nurse residency program. this also includes telemetry. i am soo excited. i love every aspect of nursing, but i feel that i belong in the critical care setting.

i feel at home there. med-surg is nice too. i also like peds and ob and all of it.

oh goodness, i wrote a book. so sorry...
