Wondering if anyone might be able to give me insight as to what salary I should be asking for a position of HHD/PD RN in the Chicagoland area?

I'm currently a CC for 12-chair unit and got shafted on the salary when I transferred to this position from Acutes. I was told I should've been offered $35-$37 by two separate managers. The HHD/PD RN position covers two clinics and I believe between the both of them I'd only have roughly 10 patients. But I'm sure it will grow as the trend is moving towards HHD/PD with all the payment cuts to in-center HD. Or do you think it's even appropriate to ask for more salary?

Thanks for any insight!

I would have thought around 30 dollars an hour. I'm working in Chicago and getting 28/42on call. 35 seems pretty high to me.

Although it seems like you have a ton of experience.

Yeah I make more than that but less than what I was told I should be offered. I don't think I'll be able to get any more money for transferring but was gonna try :)

But 35 for a CC is not high if that's what you were referring to. And technically I should be a CNM since my FA is unlicensed.
