Hi Everyone.
I'm an RN with 6 yrs homehealth experience in Indiana. I am the weekend option/on call for my agency, and pick up Mons/Tuesday. I enjoy my independence. I prefer to be in the field than in the office, which comes in handy, as the agency has been on laptop for almost 10 yrs. I am spoiled with the flexibility it provides me in the locations I chart. (eg. on the weekends I return home to chart, then download from home)
Anyway. It is becoming apparent a change of locale is warranted. I am looking for the rural communities...Colorado, Wy, MT, AZ..maybe New Mexico.
To those whom work in those areas, could you please enlighten me on your opinions of the homehealth agencies? Tell me what you like about or dislike about? Provide recommendations of which agency to avoid? ARE there openings for a wannbe transplant HH RN?
Thanks.
