I was wondering if you all could share your tips on how you do your resumes being a traveler. I am starting to have concerns since I have been doing quite a bit of travel and agency work in many different states. I am afraid it may hinder me when I do apply for a permanent job sometime in the near future..........any advice?

What I have doen is list the Agency and then each place I went to through the Agency
Example: Experience With Agencies
Agency ABC From Contract Date Start to Date End
Address Facillity I worked at
Telephone Position I worked, ie Travel RN Med/ Surg
If more than one contract with same Agency
List those Places as outline above
Next Agency Same outline as above
Hope this helps,

I do mine as follows:
Travel Company/ Agency 2001-2009
Medical University
Hospital A - RN NICU
Hospital B - RN Level II Nursery
Hospital C - RN NICU
If you have more than one travel company or agency, then list it the same with all places worked underneath. It shows that you didn't flip around with numerous jobs and also shows you have the ability to adapt to several areas/hospitals at the same time. I have never had it hinder me. I have had nurse managers tell me it shows that I can go into anywhere and get the job done. It has never hindered me. Good luck!
