HESI Test at FSU

Anyone taken the HESI test at FSU or anywhere else where they require the science sections? I'm taking it this Friday and looking for any last minute tips! I saw some other threads about this subject with some links, which no longer work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone, I applied for FSU fall 2011, and I am a transfer student from UCF. I contacted advisors and nobody ever mentioned me needing to take a HESI test, and there was nothing about the test on the nursing application...did they get rid of it? It's making me so nervous that I may have overlooked something! But I talked to multiple advisors and I feel like someone would have told me that big detail lol.

You don't need any tests from this year in fsu. Have you applied in ucf, too?

Oh my goodness suejax, thank you so much..I've been so worried. do you know why they got rid of. The est? Yes, I applied to ucf, fsu, uf, unf. Got my rejection letter from unf summer which was very discouraging of course. But they only took 24 out of 540 so that made me feel better lol. Where have you applied and what do your gpas look like? Nice to meet you! :)

haha.. I applied unf, usf - accelerated program, ucf, fsu - regular program. I was gonna take hesi, but fsu said we don't need it from this year. Do you live in Jacksonville, too? I live 3 min away from UNF, and I got denied after interview. It was heartbroken !! My second choice is defi FSU, and I have a 3.77 gpa (from my BS, prereqs & science gpa is like almost 4.0). we will see

Wow I think you have a really great chance! The accelerated program is for if you already have a bachelors degree, right? no, I actually live in Orlando and go to ucf. Gosh, that sucks about unf...I'm glad then that I got rejected before the interview so I wasn't as disappointed. It just baffles me that they have so little spots in their program. I have a 3.56 overall and 3.77 prerequisite gpa, so I guess I'm worried I won't get in anywhere :/

Have you applied in UCF, too? Which one is your first choice? I am waiting on my mail from FSU every day, and now I really want to go to FSU!!

Yes I did apply to ucf, but I really want FSU. I've been stalking the mailman daily...I'm hoping next week since nothing came today!

Hopefully FSU for you!! I got into UCF, but I probably not going there. Why you didn't want to go to UCF at the beginning even though you live in Orlando??

If you live in Orlando for more then 6 mos, you'd understand ;). Congrats! What was your gpa/teas?
