Hey, I am in my last semester of RN, and we are fixing to take the HESI exam next month. I am stressed out to the max!!!! Does anyone have any words of advice? Or better yet any encouragement? lol Does anyone know what the pass/fail ratio on this thing is? Our instructors haven't told us crap about it except that we have to make an 85.

Since this is your last semester, the HESI you should be taking is the exit HESI. This test incorporates all of nursing and it can give you a prediction on how well you will do when you take boards. The good thing about it is that you can find out your weaknesses and study up on them. The bad thing is, if it is like the school I attended, you could not graduate if you don't score above 85. So, maybe you should take some post-tests on NCLEX CD's and/or take the comprehensive tests that are offered in NCLEX books. Good luck!! I have heard people say that HESI was harder than the NCLEX. But, of course that depends on the person.
