HESI score

Hi everybody!! I just took the HESI entrance exam today and scored an 85. I don't really know if that is considered good or not. We had to get at least a 70 to pass. I am very nervous. Does anyone know what the average usually is for this test? I'm freaking out!!!!!:uhoh3:

At the college I plan to attend you have to get an 85 or better on the HESI to be considered for the nursing program. But because they also base acceptance on your GPA you need a higher HESI than 85 if you want a good shot at getting in. There are a lot of applicants with GPAs higher than 3.8! I am hoping for a 90 or better when I take it.

Which part of the test did you think was most difficult?

I thought that the hardest part was the anatomy. But the math actually was somewhat difficult to me since I have forgotten a lot of it!! I talked to a couple people at school today and apparently my score is high compared to others. Overall, honestly, it's really not that hard of a test. I highly recommend to anyone to get the HESI study guide.

I took the hesi last January I scored 74, I'm quite disappointed with my score. Took the NCLEX last March 27, machine shut down after seventy five questions, I passed. I think you are in the right track and don't worry too much, it will not bring you any good, just believe in yourself and study and don't forget to pray too
