HESI Rio Grande LPN to RN

Published

Hey all!!!

I just recently retook my HESI after doing so poorly last time to attempt to gain entrance into the LPN to RN program at Rio Grande University at Rio Grande OH.

Has anyone been accepted to the classroom bridge program? What did you score?? I will find out Monday if I get in or not. I'm not sure which score they use, the conversion score or percentage score.. I scored a 796 which I know is still bad but I had head that some people got in with a 75% so I'm hoping that's the case :) :)

Wishing you the best of luck! I would like to apply to this program, which Hesi did you take? I've heard that the A2 is being used but the info giving via their website says Hesi PN ASN I believe. Any advice?

so.. the firsts time I took it last year I studied for the A2 and it was a huge shock to me when I got in there and it was the HESI PN ASN. I was accepted to the fast track program this year, I start in June. I studied every NCLEX and HESI test I could prior to taking it and improved my score by 100 pts. You can do it!!

Congrats to you on the acceptance into the program. I was accepted in 2015 (seems like ages ago) and am in my final semester, taking the exit exam at the end of next month. Best of luck to you moving forward. You have to REALLY want it to make it through this program, let me know if you need anything!

@NurseNicole89, sounds like you did the hybrid program? I've applied for this upcoming fall start for the program and am awaiting the notification that I can schedule the HESI test for June. You mention you have to really want it to make it through the program; is there a lack of support from the college? One thing I haven't been able to get too much feedback is the structure of courses. Are grades based solely on tests? Or, are there projects, discussion boards, etc?

@ Never2LateLPNtoADN, I am interested in attending RIO LPN to ADN Hybrid program but I am very nervous. I am scheduling to take HESI sometime next month, I was hoping that you will be able to provide me with some additional information. I am assuming that you already graduated the program with flying color lol..., Please look me up on FB @Saran Conde. At anyone else who can provide me with some helpful information, I will really appreciate it.
