Hi,
I am about to take the HESI for the 3rd time. I took the second one, and I didnt pass, and I came home and wrote down as many question as I could that I could remember. I sat there and read every single rationale. So here is what I have to take ask. I know my school is about administer V-3 to me. A
I know there are people out there who have taken V-3. If anyone would be kind enough to send me the topics they missed, or better yet if they can remember any questions from there, please email me! I have studied so much, and I am not getting the score I need. This is my last shot to take it.
And I would be more than happy to send anyone my questions from V-2 as part of an even exchange. We all want to be nurses, and we all need to help each other out to succeed!!

I'm really not trying to be a negative nancy, but I just wanted to point out it's actually a violation of the contract you sign before taking the HESI test to share actual questions. Technically you're not even suppose to talk about the questions (of course that doesn't stop anyone), but I wouldn't want you to get in trouble by the company/your school for doing such.
That being said, good luck studying. Maybe you can talk to your professors about doing some of the case studies that Evolve offers. I've done a few and like them, and remember some of the stuff I learned from them when I was taking my HESI today.

Hit up the NCLEX books and start reviewing body systems that you are uncomfortable with.
When we took the HESI we got a print out afterwards that told us what areas we needed work in. Use this to your advantage.

As far as I have heard different schools also get differently tailored versions of the Hesi Exit Exam. Also I am pretty sure where I go to school our accelerated bachelors that are graduating got a different version of the exit exam than our traditional students.
My advice is this: go back to fundamentals and think through every question beginning with simple fundamental concepts such as ABCs, figure out what the question is actually asking. They keep telling us on the NCLEX they will be testing you on different topics simultaneously by throwing extra things in throw out whatever doesn't make sense and whatever you don't need. Also always ask yourself do I need an intervention or another assessment and then figure out what answer gives you what you need.
Use a book such as Silvestri to study concepts that you know you have struggled with. There is no way to cheat the HESI and you are only hurting yourself and future patients by not knowing your material.
You can do this!! If you can make it through nursing school you can do this Hesi!!
