Hi all. I recently took my second attempt at the HESI Exam and didn't make a 75% on 2 sub-units (Biology and Chemistry). The first time I took it my HESI it was back in September of last year and just this past Saturday I attempted the exam for the second time. I believe the general rule is that you can test a year from the second time you attempted to exam. That puts me off a whole year. So, my parents were talking about sending me to a different state to finish at a different University.
MY QUESTION (sorry about the life story): If I go to a different state, do I still have to wait a year to take the Nursing HESI exam again?

The waiting period is decided by each nursing school --- so you would need to check with the programs...
You may also consider looking at programs that have other entrance exams other than the HESI... just a thought...
Best of luck.
I'm taking my CNA course that starts here in a week, but that's a great idea! Thank you for the advice! :)
