Nursing Students HESI

Hello...just curious what Darton College scores are getting accepted in the program?

I just took the hesi and my overall score was an 85.6 with a 68 on a&p :( my gpa is currently around a 2.7 - 2.9...not really sure how to calculate my gpa for just their courses required. Thanks for any help!

Keakin6, finally someone posts about the up coming darton program. I'm actually preparing for the Hesi now. I have to take it thursday. You did good on the hesi but the Anatomy was a little low but not bad. I know darton was telling everyone that they look at a 2.5 or highter gpa and the overall hesi score and the anatomy score by it self. I wish you good luck. can you please tell me how to study for the anatomy because the book is so small in that area. Do you remember any of the questions maybe the heart, ears, eys, organ systems etc... I'm studying as we speak but I'm all over the place. If you want to email me my address is [email protected] Once again good luck and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello again Keakin6. Well the pressure is on I took my hesi and My overall score was a 78.40% with also a 68% in anatomy. Anatomy was hard. I did better on my first hesi at another college. I hope someone can post to our response soon. I have heard different stories about who they accept in. my GPA is a 3.5 and I have taken all my classes. I am going to put in my fall application just in case I don't get picked. Anyway Good luck and We will keep in touch for the waiting process. On the other note: CAN ANYONE EVALUATE MY HESI SCORE AND TELL ME IF ANYONE HAVE GOTTEN IN AS WELL with this score? please help me and my neighbor keakin6 above (the one that started this post)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought the anatomy was hard!! Good luck to you as well!!!

Hiiiii... I took my Hesi A2 exam for Darton College Summer 2012 Nursing track yesterday...79.20% overall; the A&P part sabotaged me w/a 68% :(. This is the kicker...I studied more for the A&P part than I did any other part of the test (it was crazy hard to me). Oh well, my prayer warriors are up and my fingers are crossed...I'm still going to apply for the Fall 2012 track (gotta have a back up plan)...good luck you guys:yelclap:. The class average was a 78, but I'm not sure how that plays out...however I have a standing GPA (I think...lol) and I'm done with my prerequisites, except for MT (enrolled now).

Keakin6 I guess I could answer your question now about if someone got a letter from darton. Well I got my rejection letter and it stated for test grade. I guess my 78.40% wasn't good enough but I didn't fall apart I actually felt a relief. I didn't want to go into April thinking about what if's. Anyway that gives me a greater feeling that I'm going to get in my first college of choice. I really didn't want to start nursing in the summer even though I would have done it. Ok well enough about me, I wish you good luck and to all else that is trying to get in the program.

Limitless-- I'm SO sorry!! I remember getting my first rejection letter and I did fall apart. I was devastated. Good luck with your fall application. I wish you the best!! I haven't heard anything from Darton yet. I want to know already!! Keeping my fingers crossed!!

tperks....don't feel bad I also studied more for the a&p part and still made a 68 on it. Good luck to you as well....I didn't get anything in the mail from Darton today so....we'll see!

False alarm....it was just stating I have been accepted as a student.
