Hello everyone, I will be taking the HESI Evolve A2 nursing entrance test. What do you all think of the exam if you have taken it.Do you think i honestly need to buy that expensive study guide, Im now studying from a BARONS book. Please tell me what yall thought of the exam andyour score

thanks!

Hello, do you still have the pdf? I would love to have a copy. thanks

my best friend & i are taking the hesi on 8/25/09 & we are scared to death. we get 2 chances at it but we are scared we will fail at both attempts. we have the grammar/vocabulary down & basic math. i took a couple of practice test on chemistry & got 2 out of 9 questions right on one test & failed the others l

my question is does the hesi exam focus heavily on chemistry?

btw brushing up on anatomy lol any advise is would be greatly appreciated thanks all.

I took the HESI A2 a couple weeks ago and did pretty well. I focused a lot on chemistry, biology, and anatomy - because it had been many years since I had taken them and I needed to brush up. Anatomy was the hardest section to me. Go over anatomy (heart, blood flow; basics of each system in the body) and workings of the cell (components, membranes, organelles, etc.) really good!! And study medical terminology too!

I can't remember a whole lot on the chemistry, except it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I looked up a couple chemistry tutorials on-line and went through them. Know a little about acids/bases, makeup of the atom... I don't remember many formulas on any portions of the HESI (except know your math conversions).

Just do your best during the test. I remember feeling really discouraged after the first 2 sections because there were plenty of things I didn't know for sure; and I was thinking 'I haven't passed these sections, so what's the point of continuing the rest?' But I had to stop myself thinking that and just take a breah and continue on, doing my best in each section (we had 7 sections!). I ended up getting 92% on those first 2 sections, which I coudn't believe; so it's not as bad as you think while you're doing it!

Good luck to you!

Can someone please send me that PDF?

I have the paper version but I am making flashcards online and want to do the vocabulary words, but do not want to type that all out. I could copy and paste from a PDF couldn't I?

I have already created sections on roman numerals, conversions, grammar terms and parts of speech. You can access them and join my hessi study group if you want. You can create printable tests, flashcards and play spacerace (it's free).

Check your email - I just sent you the pdf. Most people can't copy & paste from pdf, however, unless you have the adobe program where you can overwrite pdf's...

Hello,

Hi my name is Patricia. I am going to take the hesi 2 entrance exam in a week. I bought the study guide but I don't if it is enough. I have to take chemistry, AP, biology, math, reading and grammar. Please let me know if there is any study guide on the web. Thanks
