Yes, I believe they are different. Which makes sense, of course, considering the different scope of practice. RN knowledge in school, I believe, is more in-depth in terms of the sciences. I could be mistaken though because I'm not going to school to be an RN. I do have some information about the HESI A2 in terms of what you'll be tested over here: https://sites.google.com/site/apinnerworkings/home
There are study guides as well as other useful information to take a look at. Hope that clarifies. You could compare what you were initially tested over to the RN version of the HESI A2 and see what differences you discover. That may be your best bet.

Does the Practical Nursing entrance exam differ from the RN entrance exam? This may be a silly question to someone experienced but I know that I will get the correct and helpful answers I need from my fellow nursing students and experienced nurses. I passed the LVN/LPN Hesi A2 with flying colors. Just wondering if the RN Hesi A2 is any different. Right now I am currently a clerk at a dead end job with no opportunities whatsoever for advancement. I've decided to make a change. I have one school that offers the morning RN program with no waiting list and another school that has the evening and weekend LPN/LVN program that fits my day job schedule. I have two small children but will improvise my schedule and find another job if I have to as my current job does not offer 2nd shift. Please feel free to comment or advise. I have no problem with criticism, especially when it comes to the right thing to do with my future and the up-bringing of my children. I am also new to the site and look forward to hearing from you all. Thanks and God bless you all.
