Hello All. I need help. Ive been going to family members that are trying to give good advice but Im not seeing their point. Ok, I contacted Herzing to inqire about an article I'd read about their fnp program. I was told that I stilll had time to submit my application as long as my BSN gpa was 2.7 or greater....This is the first class so they arent accreditated (anyone know how that works?) The price is 38000...is that average? And clinicals start the second 8 weeks....i have to find my own preceptor tho they do offer assistance. In a way I want to be happy but I dont kno crap about this school and ive searched. It just seems so easy to get in...any advice?
I just passed the ANCC FNP test and I went to Herzing Online. They are very supportive to the point where they help you after you graduate and provide incentives such as reimbursing test fees, paying for review courses etc... The hardest part was finding preceptors but they are getting much better at helping, at least in New Orleans where I live. I would recommend Herzing.

Hi zwink74,
Just wondering about your experience with the MSN-FNP program at Herzing Online. I am hoping to start January 2018. I am planning on being a full time student, hoping to finish in 20 months as stated on the website. Did you do it in that timeframe? How was the workload for classes? I am expecting a lot of self study and reading (as with any graduate online program) and know that I will need to find my own preceptors. I currently work part time (two 12 hr shifts a week) and have two small children at home, hoping it's doable!!! Any feedback is appreciated. You can either respond or email me at [email protected]
(Sorry, I can't message as I haven't reached the required amount of posts!)
Thank you!

That's a reasonable price. Herzing is $38k for the entire program. I'm hopefully starting April 28th.
