hepatology nursing

Hi all!

Theres a temporary job in a hepatology outpatient setting and I haven't the slightest notion as to what it involves. Im 3-4 months qualified and have worked in a specialised area since i qualified also in an outpatient setting. Ultimately id love to get back to hands on caring for my own patients in a ward setting but Im wondering what sort of experience would i gain if i choose to work in hepatology for a short time period. I have no idea what aspect of nursing I want to pursue so i'd be happy to take any experience and try different areas out. Has anyone worked in anything similar before? What did it involve? Would you recommend it?
