I am a new grad with about 5 months of surgery experience, and I have been hired into my dream job in the ICU. I know there are existing threads about this but I was not able to find any recent ones. I would appreciate it if anyone would be able to advise me of any helpful textbooks that they used when starting out in the ICU. Particularly pocket ones that I could keep with me on the unit.
When I was new to the ICU I got a digital copy of the AACN's Critical Care book on my iPad. That way as I came across an interesting case, I could just type the word in the magnifying glass and get right to the section relevant.
Quick Reference to Critical Care by Nancy Diepenbrock. I love that book. I used it so much the first two years out of school that pages fell out and I bought a second copy.

Hi everyone,
I am a new grad with about 5 months of surgery experience, and I have been hired into my dream job in the ICU. I know there are existing threads about this but I was not able to find any recent ones. Thanks in advance!! :)
