Hello Congradulation for your admission,
I appied to BSN program for Shady Grove campus for spring, too. But I have not heard anything from them. But, yes, their program is very hard. That is the reality of all schools. You will be alright as long as you have good friends to study with. I have many friends who are in nursing program, and they do comment from time to time that it is hard, but in the end, if you are desciplined, then it should be ok.
One question, I have for you is: what was your Teas score and GPA? I am just nervous since I have not heard anything yet.
And All the best for your school. May be we might even see each other in future!

If you are accepted and you choose not to go, will you regret it? If the answer is yes, then you should go! I was accepted to UMSON for Spring 2013. I know it's going to be so freaking hard! Just try to prepare before by reviewing your A&P book, and Micro book. Buy your books early and start reading them. You just have to go into this thing knowing that it's going to be extremely difficult, but deciding that you are going to buckle down and do everything in your power in order to be successful. Have your head in the game! And also make sure you make friends real quick so that you can form study groups. That's what I'm planning on doing. If this is your dream, you shouldn't let anything get in your way!

You should think about if nursing is really want you want to do in life. Its a tough profession but well worth it. Nursing school won't be easy no matter where you go. If you go to community college or UMSON. You should decide if you are committed enough to the goal and go for it! It will be well worth it and you are lucky to have a seat at a great school.
